Is Your Property READY to Sell?
Sellers are you ready to sell your house? If you are, you may want to
think about the following:
Manicured the yard? Such as:
cut the grass,
swept the sidewalks or steps,
cut back on the branches, shrubs and removed them,
raked the yard of leaves and picked up the fallen branches,
do you have piles of items in the yard that need to be removed.
Vacuumed the house, dusted the furniture, picked up the clothes
and wet towels on the floor, put away the dishes, made the beds.
Even if you lived with it for years and it never bothered you, you may want
to fix that minor detail,
like the leaky faucet, a touch of paint here or there may make a difference.
Your house should look like it would if you were expecting
company or entertaining dinner guests for the evening and keeping it that way
till the house is sold.
Just a little dab of paint and make sure the appliances are in good working
order.
The little things can be done inexpensively. It may help make the difference
on the house making more money for you
and the real estate transaction go a little more smoothly, too.
You never know when the real estate agent will call and say, Can I show your
house.
It pays dividends to be ready.
Remember sellers, this is only the begining.
There will be a lot more questions that you will have as you go through the
process.
Don't be afraid to ask them! Remember, there is no such thing as a dumb question.
